TERMS & CONDITIONS

Spaces cannot be held without a deposit for any duration.

There is a 7 day minimum charge throughout the year.

There is a 14 day minimum charge for bookings over the Christmas/New year period. 

Day of drop off and collection are both charged the full daily rate.

A 25% deposit is required to secure your booking. 

The remaining balance must paid either before or when you drop off your cat. This can be paid via cash or bank transfer.

Failure to pay the outstanding balance before or at the time of drop off will result in your cat not being accepted into our care.

AliCats holds no responsibility for any loss, financial or otherwise, resulting from the refusal to accept a cat for boarding due to non payment of boarding fees at the time of, or before drop off.​​

Kittens must be at least 6 months of age at the time of boarding.

All male cats must be neutered.

All female cats must be spayed unless exceptional circumstances apply, such as their status as show or breeding cats. Proof of exemption must be provided if requested.

Cats will not be accepted without a current vaccination certificate covering the duration of boarding covering: feline panleukopenia, feline parvovirus, also known as feline infectious enteritis, and feline respiratory viruses (feline herpesvirus and feline calicivirus).

If any signs of external parasites are evident during their stay, my cat will be treated with the appropriate medication following veterinary advice or written consent from the owner or emergency contact.

Existing medical conditions are not covered under AliCats insurance.

AliCats Cattery accepts no responsibility or liability for any illness, death, or loss of any cat that may occur as a result of any pre-existing medical conditions.

AliCats is unable to administer certain types of medication e.g. injections and some transdermal medications.

​

If a cat shows signs of being unwell during boarding, the cats usual veterinarian will be consulted in the first instance. In an emergency, and at our discretion, AliCats may seek veterinary treatment for boarded cats, even without the owners consent, if this is deemed necessary for the well being of cats.

If illness or injury is suspected, veterinary care will be sought through either my own vet or the designated vet for Alicats Cattery (E Vets Animal Health Centre). Any veterinary fees incurred during boarding must be reimbursed by the owner to AliCats cattery upon collection.

Only cats from the same household may share a unit. If a booking is for two cats, I agree for my cats to share a unit. Cats sharing a unit may be separated if deemed in their best interest. The additional cost of housing two cats in separate units must be paid on collection.

Any personal items are left at the risk of loss or damage. Items may be disposed of if heavily soiled or damaged. 

​

In the case a cat has not been collected following boarding, and if attempts to reach the owner are unsuccessful, AliCats may deem the cat to be abandoned, and will take appropriate action to rehome the cat appropriately.

Bookings may be cancelled up to 30 days in advance of arrival date with full refund of deposit. Bookings cancelled after this time may result in loss of the deposit.

Cats will be provided with bedding, toys and other enrichment activities.

​

All units and contents are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected between guests using a DEFRA approved disinfectant.

AliCats does not provide a daily photo/video update service. Owners will be sent regular updates along with photos or videos of their cats throughout their stay, but daily updates cannot be guaranteed, particularly during busy periods.

AliCats may post videos and photographs of boarding cats along with their name, on social media platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok. If owners would prefer their cats not to appear online, they must let AliCats know in advance of boarding.
